The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of high-end hospitality and residential development projects on behalf of the client. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong technical background in project and construction management, capable of managing design, procurement, construction, and handover phases while maintaining the highest standards of quality, cost control, and schedule adherence. The Senior Project Manager acts as the key interface between the client, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that the client’s vision and brand standards are achieved.


Key Responsibilities


Project Leadership & Planning

  • Lead project delivery activities in alignment with company objectives and brand values.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor project programs, budgets, and risk registers.
  • Coordinate feasibility studies, site due diligence, and design development.
  • Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, health and safety requirements, and sustainability objectives.


Design & Consultant Management

  • Support the development team manage multidisciplinary design teams (architectural, interior design, MEP, structural, etc.) to ensure timely and coordinated outputs.
  • Support the review of design documentation to ensure alignment with project brief, budget, and operational requirements.
  • Facilitate design workshops and value engineering exercises.


Procurement & Contract Administration

  • Support tendering and appointment of consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Review and recommend procurement strategies suitable for luxury hospitality and residential developments.
  • Administer contracts in coordination with commercial and legal teams, ensuring compliance and fair execution.


Construction & Site Management

  • Monitor construction progress, quality standards, and adherence to design intent.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
  • Manage contractor performance and ensure timely resolution of technical and contractual issues.


Stakeholder & Client Interface

  • Act as the principal client representative for all project-related matters.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project reports, presentations, and dashboards to senior management.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring alignment with project vision, cost, and delivery targets.


Handover & Closeout

  • Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover processes.
  • Ensure proper documentation, operation manuals, and as-built drawings are delivered.
  • Support transition to operations and post-completion evaluations.



Qualifications & Experience


Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Professional accreditation such as PMP, RICS, MRICS, MCIOB, or equivalent is highly desirable.


Experience

  • Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in the UAE or GCC region.
  • Proven track record of managing luxury hospitality and high-end residential projects from inception to completion.
  • Experience working within client or developer organizations preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC-based contracts, local permitting processes, and regional construction practices.
