Independent Advertising agency is looking for a Project / Resource Manager. Working in to the Operations Manager you will be are the glue that keeps it (and everyone) together, delivering quality resourcing and workflow for the agency. You strive for clarity, ensuring everyone knows what needs to happen, and when, so that projects can continue moving through the agency in a seamless fashion. You are always looking forward, anticipating potential issues and connecting all the dots.
Salary $100K-$110K inc Super.
Responsibilities
- Prioritisation of projects/tasks: Assigning creatives and other specialists to projects based on their skills, style, experience, and availability to meet client demands.
- Capacity Planning: Monitoring current and future project workloads to ensure the agency has the right capacity and preventing over-scheduling or resource gaps.
- Workflow Management: Understanding the creative process and workflow to effectively schedule and manage tasks, anticipate potential challenges, and find solutions.
- Budget & Financials: Assisting with the financial aspects of freelancers, including invoices and billing processes.
- Team Collaboration: Partnering with account and project management teams to ensure resource availability for project milestones.
- Performance Monitoring: Tracking resource utilization and output to optimize efficiency, improve project outcomes, and maximize overall performance.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role you will need at least 2-3 years advertising agency experience in either Project orTraffic / Resource management.

- Strong Organizational Skills: To manage detailed schedules and complex bookings for numerous staff members and freelancers.
- Talent & Creative Understanding: A deep knowledge of different creative disciplines, styles, and work processes.
- Proactive Problem-Solving: The ability to quickly identify resource gaps and provide solutions before they impact project timelines.
- Negotiation & People Management: Skills to negotiate with freelancers and manage relationships within the creative team.
- Financial Acumen: To oversee budgets and manage the financial aspects of freelance resources.
