As an HR Generalist, you will support our operations in Ukraine in close partnership with our European People Team. We have a growing team of employees in the country, and you will be responsible for delivering HR services across two entities — a medical center (MCOP Ukraine) and our commercial organization.
You will report to the Head of Medical Center (solid line) and work in close collaboration with regional and global HR stakeholders.
The position is based at our facility in Kyiv and requires full-time on-site presence.

Your role
Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Execute HR administrative processes in line with Ukrainian labor legislation and maintain accurate employee data in the HR Information System (Workday)
- Manage full employee lifecycle processes — from onboarding to offboarding, including preparation of employment documentation, amendments, and personnel records
- Ensure proper maintenance of HR documentation and personnel files in accordance with local legal requirements
- Coordinate payroll inputs with accounting / external providers, ensuring accuracy of data related to compensation, absences, and other employee changes
- Act as a point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related topics, including local policies, procedures, and day-to-day employee matters
- Support managers in handling employee relations topics and contribute to maintaining a stable and supportive work environment
- Support local recruitment activities, including coordination of interviews and candidate communication
- Assist with compensation and benefits administration (including medical insurance and other local programs)
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including labor law, reporting obligations, and maintenance of mandatory records (e.g. military registration, where applicable)
- Contribute to local and global HR projects, including implementation of HR systems and processes
- Support reporting, data analysis, and preparation of HR-related insights for business and global stakeholders
- Participate in continuous improvement of HR processes, adapting global practices to local needs
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar HR role, with strong focus on HR operations and administration in Ukraine
- Higher education in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- Solid knowledge of Ukrainian labor legislation and HR documentation practices
- Experience in payroll coordination and working with accounting / external providers
- Good command of English (sufficient for communication with international stakeholders)
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a fast-changing and sometimes ambiguous environment
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build trust and effectively support employees and managers
- Digital savviness and proficiency in MS Office
- Experience with Workday or other HR systems is an advantage
