IT Manager & Digital Transformation ( 6–9 Month Fixed-Term Contract)

This well-known educational institute are hiring an experienced IT Manager & Digital Transformation for a 6–9-month contract.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role where you will take full ownership of IT operations while driving a critical phase of digital transformation across the organisation. You’ll play a key role in modernising systems, strengthening cybersecurity, and enabling a more data-driven, digitally mature environment.

You will define and execute the organisation’s IT and digital transformation strategy, aligning technology with broader business goals while leading the modernisation of systems, platforms, and processes. Alongside this, you will oversee day-to-day IT operations to ensure high performance, reliability, and user satisfaction across all services. You will take ownership of infrastructure and cloud environments, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and future-ready, while also leading on cybersecurity, risk, and compliance in line with frameworks such as GDPR and ISO standards. You will also manage vendors, budgets, and governance frameworks, while leading and developing a high-performing IT team and delivering key technology projects from concept through to execution.

It is expected that you have 7–10+ years’ experience in senior IT leadership roles with a proven track record of delivering digital transformation in complex environments and strong background in IT operations, infrastructure, and cloud technologies. Experience in education, professional services, or public sector environments would be an advantage.
