Junior AI Software Engineer (Python / AI Focus)

We are looking for a motivated Junior AI Software Engineer with strong Python skills who is excited about building real-world AI products. You will join a small, fast-moving team developing internal AI-powered solutions that support and improve our business operations.

This role is ideal for someone with a few years of Python-based software development experience who wants to deepen their expertise in applied AI and machine learning systems while working closely with a Senior AI Engineer.

You will play a key role in building, integrating, and maintaining AI-driven tools, with a strong emphasis on Python-based AI development, data processing, and backend services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AI-powered applications using Python
• Build backend services, APIs, and integrations with a focus on Python frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Flask)
• Implement and integrate AI models, LLM APIs, and automation workflows
• Work with data pipelines, preprocessing, and AI-driven logic in production systems
• Collaborate closely with a Senior AI Engineer to design and deliver AI solutions
• Participate in testing, debugging, and performance optimization of AI systems
• Apply best practices in Python development, code quality, and system design
• Continuously learn and apply new AI, ML, and Python ecosystem tools

Requirements

• 2+ years of software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Python (required)
• Experience building backend services, APIs, or data-driven applications in Python
• Interest in AI, machine learning, and applied AI systems
• Ability to work independently while following technical guidance
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Must be based in Warsaw (this role requires local presence)

Nice to Have

• Experience working with AI/LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain, etc.)
• Familiarity with AI frameworks and libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn)
• Experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, or vector databases
• Knowledge of prompt engineering and AI system design
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Exposure to containerization (Docker) and deployment of Python services
