As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of large-scale projects in the Dublin area. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring that all work is completed safely, on time, and within the allocated budget. This role serves as the primary link between the client, design teams, and site staff.
Key Responsibilities
Salary: 100k-120k + Package
As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of large-scale projects in the Dublin area. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring that all work is completed safely, on time, and within the allocated budget. This role serves as the primary link between the client, design teams, and site staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery: Manage the full lifecycle from initial setup and planning through to execution, handover, and final close-out.
- Commercial Oversight: Track project spending, monitor budgets, and negotiate cost variations with clients and service providers.
- Team Leadership: Direct site staff, project engineers, and subcontractors, ensuring high performance and a collaborative environment.
- Stakeholder Management: Lead weekly progress meetings and act as the main point of contact for architects, engineers, and local authorities.
- Safety & Quality: Promote a "safety first" culture and ensure all work complies with Building Control (Amendment) Regulations (BCAR).
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project records, including contracts, permits, risk registers, and O&M manuals.
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 7/8) in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of project management experience with a main contractor in Ireland (desirable)
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of RIAI Standard Forms of Contract and Irish health and safety legislation (SafePass/Manual Handling required).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills under pressure.
