Freelance Opportunity - SAP Project Manager - Remote (for candidates based in Poland)

We are currently seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of an SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration project. This is a freelance, long-term, fully remote opportunity for candidates based in Poland.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of an SAP transformation project, ensuring delivery aligns with agreed scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards. The role requires strong coordination across business and technical teams, with a focus on managing dependencies and ensuring a smooth transition to S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration

• Manage project scope, timeline, cost, and quality

• Coordinate cross-functional teams across business and IT

• Oversee governance, planning, and risk management

• Define and execute cutover strategy

• Manage mock cutovers, go-live readiness, and execution

• Ensure smooth transition into hypercare and ongoing support

Required Experience & Knowledge

• Proven experience delivering SAP projects, ideally ECC to S/4HANA migrations

• Strong understanding of SAP landscapes and transformation programs

• Experience managing complex dependencies across multiple workstreams

• Hands-on experience with cutover activities and go-live planning

• Previous experience as Cutover Manager or ownership of cutover workstreams is highly desirable
