Cyber Security Specialist

One of our State Government Clients is seeking to engage candidates for the below roles.

Role: Cyber security GRC Specialist

Length of contract: 06 months

Contract extensions: Possible extension

Clearance: Australian Permanent Resident and Full Working Rights in Australia

Location: Brisbane, Queensland (69 Ann Street) (4 days Onsite and 1 days per week can be remote)

Job details

This position will report to the Manager, Cyber Security (GRC). You will be responsible for leading the uplift of Department's Information Security Management System.

You will:

•Develop and maintain core/mandatory ISMS related artifacts.

•Develop and maintain an ISMS actions plan and work with stakeholders to address all non-conformities, areas of concern and opportunities for improvement.

•Integrate information security/cyber security into procurement, project management and software development processes.

•Establish new information security threat and risk assessment processes.

•Develop new information security policies and procedures.

•Develop cyber security GRC dashboards, reports and briefing papers.

•Perform other duties as required.

This role requires extensive experience in information security governance, risk management and compliance within a complex government or enterprise environment. Your demonstrated governance background, combined with a strategic mindset for the implementation of an embedded, governed and secure ISMS will make you a valuable asset for the team.

The following experience will be highly regarded:

•Expertise in developing and implementing ISO 27001 based Information Security Management Systems.

•Experience in undertaking large scale information security management system improvement activities.

Mandatory Qualifications:

•ISO 27001 Auditor or Lead Implementer.

•CISSP.
