Penetration Tester

We are currently seeking an experienced Product Owner – Cybersecurity Testing & Exposure Management for a contract opportunity within a complex enterprise environment.

Location: Belgium / Hybrid

Contract Position

Daily Rate: Up to €800 per day

As Product Owner, you will be responsible for the strategic development, governance and continuous improvement of cybersecurity testing and exposure management services across the organisation. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure the effective delivery of penetration testing, vulnerability management and exposure management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and manage the product vision, roadmap and service strategy for cybersecurity testing and exposure management

• Plan, coordinate and oversee penetration testing activities across applications, infrastructure and enterprise systems

• Ensure quality and consistency throughout the testing lifecycle, including scoping, execution, reporting and remediation management

• Manage vulnerability disclosure and bug bounty programmes

• Oversee exposure management tooling, including vulnerability scanning and Attack Surface Management (ASM) solutions

• Define KPIs, SLAs and service performance metrics to ensure operational excellence

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and innovation across cybersecurity testing services

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, security stakeholders and third-party providers

Required Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Product Owner or similar leadership role

• Strong background in cybersecurity, including penetration testing, vulnerability management and security governance

• Proven knowledge of recognised frameworks and standards such as ISO27001, NIST and OWASP

• Experience managing cybersecurity testing services within enterprise environments

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CEH are considered advantageous

• Fluent Dutch language skills are essential (C2 level)
