About the Role

We’re seeking an expert Scrum Master (Freelance) to join our client’s Channels and Customer Experience Enterprises tribe in Brussels for a 9-month mission. You’ll empower a high-impact squad at the heart of sales data transformation, driving seamless data flows and actionable insights that fuel business growth. Why This Role Matters

Our client’s Sales Data Stack squad is pivotal in transforming how data is integrated, visualized, and leveraged for strategic decision-making. As Scrum Master, you’ll be the catalyst for reducing technical debt, freeing up capacity for innovation, and ensuring cross-team alignment. Your leadership will directly impact the squad’s ability to deliver high-value features, optimize workflows, and enable data-driven sales strategies across the organization.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Coaching the squad in Agile/Scrum best practices, fostering self-organization and continuous improvement
• Empowering the team to minimize run-and-maintain activities, unlocking time for refactoring and innovation
• Orchestrating end-to-end feature delivery, from planning to deployment, with full ownership of outcomes
• Facilitating Scrum ceremonies, decision-making, and conflict resolution in a safe, collaborative environment
• Removing obstacles and managing risks, dependencies, and cross-squad coordination (including Scrum-of-Scrums)
• Aligning with stakeholders and other squads to ensure synchronized progress and transparent communication
• Reporting on delivery progress to the Delivery Board and maintaining alignment with quality, release, and other key roles
• Championing a pragmatic, adaptive approach to Agile frameworks, scaling practices across complex, multi-team environments

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years as a Scrum Master in IT/data-driven environments, with a proven track record of elevating team autonomy and delivery predictability
• Deep expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies, with hands-on experience in Scrum-of-Scrums and scaling Agile (e.g., SAFe, LeSS)
• Experience optimizing workflows, reducing technical debt, and collaborating closely with engineers and architects
• Strong stakeholder management skills, translating business goals into actionable Agile plans
• Ownership mindset: proactive, pragmatic, and able to make decisions with minimal supervision
• Empathy, excellent communication, and the ability to inspire and motivate teams
• Ability to think beyond day-to-day objectives and align with broader business strategy
• Experience with data pipelines/ETL processes is a plus
• Familiarity with Kanban for managing run-and-maintain activities alongside sprint work

Technical & Language Skills

• Fluent English (mandatory for cross-tribe collaboration)
• Proficiency in at least one national language (French or Dutch) with passive understanding of the other
• Knowledge of data transformation, data pipelines, or ETL processes is advantageous

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience
• Strong networking and influencing skills
• Team spirit, collaboration, and a drive for continuous improvement
