HR Generalist / HR Specialist
I’m currently partnering with a values-driven, not-for-profit organisation to appoint a People Generalist/ Specialist into their growing People team.
This is a really nice opportunity for someone early in their HR career who wants broad exposure across the full employee lifecycle, while also getting involved in HR systems, data and process improvement.
The role:
You’ll join a small, collaborative team of six, working closely with experienced HR Business Partners and supporting a busy organisation during a period of strong focus on delivery, transformation and new ways of working.
This role offers a brilliant mix of:
- HR Generalist exposure (hire-to-retire)
- Recruitment & workforce planning
- HR systems, analytics & reporting
- Process improvement & automation (including AI)
There’s also a genuine openness to flexibility, typically 2–3 days onsite, but with a lot of trust around how you manage your time.
Responsibilities:
- Managing end-to-end recruitment and onboarding
- Supporting the full employee lifecycle (joiners, movers, leavers)
- Working closely with HRBPs on projects and day-to-day queries
- Supporting payroll inputs and benefits administration
- Improving HR processes — moving from manual to more automated ways of working
- Developing and maintaining HR reports, dashboards and insights
- Supporting HRIS improvements and digital transformation initiatives
- Contributing to EDI, engagement and L&D initiatives
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in a HR Generalist / People Operations role
- Exposure to HR systems, reporting or analytics (Excel, Power BI etc.)
- Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle and HR best practice
- Someone who is hands-on, adaptable and willing to roll up their sleeves
- Interest in HRIS, automation, data and AI
- Experience or interest in EDI initiatives is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
Salary:
- Salary: €45,000 – €50,000 + benefit
This is one of those roles where you’ll genuinely get a bit of everything — operational HR, projects, systems, and exposure to experienced leaders.
If you’re someone who enjoys variety, wants to build out your skillset beyond traditional HR, and work in an organisation with a strong sense of purpose, this could be a great next step.
