Your New Role
Reporting to the IT Coordinator, the IT Analyst will be responsible for supporting the analysis, development, and implementation of IT solutions that align with business needs across a multi-site environment.
You will work closely with business partners and internal teams to assess requirements, recommend solutions, and ensure efficient delivery within established timelines and budgets. This role also involves hands-on network management and participation in infrastructure initiatives tied to business growth, including plant acquisitions and closures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyze business and technical requirements, ensuring alignment with IT architecture and operational priorities
- Support internal stakeholders by reviewing requests and communicating recommendations and outcomes
- Perform technological diagnostics during plant acquisitions, closures, and infrastructure changes
- Provide solution recommendations considering systems, processes, cost, and timelines
- Participate in deployment and upgrades of wired and wireless network infrastructure across Canada and the U.S.
- Manage and support enterprise network environments, ensuring stability, performance, and security
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure effective implementation of IT solutions
What You’ll Need to Succeed
You are a technically strong and business-oriented IT professional with a collaborative mindset and a focus on delivering value to stakeholders.
Technical requirements:
- Cisco CCNA certification (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- Proven experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure
- Hands-on expertise with:
- Fortigate firewalls
- SD-WAN solutions (Velocloud preferred)
- Routing and switching environments
Nice-to-have:
- Experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Python scripting for automation
- Experience with:
- Juniper Mist
- Wireless access points and controllers
- Cisco wireless technologies
