About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Web Developer to join our Technology & Operations team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining cutting-edge web applications that support our operational and business objectives. Your responsibilities will include designing, automating, and optimizing web-based solutions to improve efficiency and user experience across various departments. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, project managers, and operational staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure web applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in full-stack web development, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects that impact our global logistics operations, with potential relocation to Dubai or Oman after a successful probation period.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in full-stack web development, with proficiency in React, Laravel, React Native, HTML, CSS, and related JavaScript and PHP frameworks. A solid understanding of databases and experience with code versioning tools such as Git or SVN are essential. Familiarity with web server environments like Apache or Nginx, as well as cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or DigitalOcean, is highly desirable. Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field, or demonstrate equivalent practical experience. Additional knowledge of OCR frameworks, system testing, and automated testing processes will be advantageous. The candidate must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, an understanding of the software development lifecycle, and familiarity with UI/UX best practices. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Hindi or Arabic will be considered an added advantage for regional collaboration. Willingness to relocate to Dubai or Oman after the probation period and adaptability to the Middle Eastern working environment are essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop, automate, and maintain web applications and services that align with business and operational goals, ensuring adherence to performance standards and best coding practices.
• Collaborate with team leads and members to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure consistency and excellence in design and user experience.
• Document product specifications, development processes, and project progress to facilitate effective communication and future reference.
• Stay informed about emerging trends, tools, and technologies in web development to continuously enhance skills and incorporate innovative solutions.
• Coordinate with yard staff, operations teams, and accounts personnel to ensure seamless integration of web applications with existing workflows.
• Participate in code reviews, system testing, and debugging to maintain high-quality standards.
