Job Title: Construction Project Manager (REI – Retrofits, Expansions & Initiatives)

A leading global organization is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee retrofit, expansion, and improvement initiatives across existing operational facilities. This role is critical in delivering high-quality construction projects within a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
You will take ownership of end-to-end project delivery, working closely with contractors, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full lifecycle management of retrofit and expansion construction projects
- Manage multiple concurrent projects across assigned regions
- Oversee site planning, coordination, and execution of construction activities
- Ensure delivery against key KPIs including safety, quality, cost, and schedule
- Support design development and identify risks, gaps, and clashes
- Provide value engineering input and recommend design improvements
- Act as the main point of contact for contractors and external partners
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure corrective actions where needed
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and cost control across projects
- Review and validate change requests related to scope, cost, and timelines
- Maintain accurate project documentation, tracking, and reporting
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding risks and progress
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management or engineering
- Proven experience managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of construction processes and project lifecycle
- Ability to work independently and manage regional responsibilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within logistics, industrial, or warehouse environments
- Knowledge of retrofit and expansion project delivery
- Familiarity with German construction regulations and standards
- Experience working with KPI-driven performance metrics
- Proficiency with project management and reporting tools
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
