Freelance Senior Information Security Officer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Information Security Officer to support and strengthen a growing security and compliance function within a fast-paced financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of security and compliance frameworks
• Contribute to regulatory initiatives, including DORA and SIRA compliance activities
• Manage and respond to security assessments and requests from vendors, suppliers, and third parties
• Support the implementation of operational security changes and ongoing enhancements
• Assist with security governance and risk management during mergers and acquisitions (M&A) integration activities
• Play a key role in strengthening and scaling the broader information security function
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements within a controlled financial environment, including DNB compliance

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Information Security, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), or related security roles
• Strong understanding of security compliance frameworks and regulatory standards
• Solid technical foundation with a good grasp of security operations and controls
• Proven experience managing third-party risk, including working with vendors and suppliers
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills within regulated environments
