Senior Project Manager

Assignment description

Within the Group Finance unit at Customer, we will need to bring in a consultant as a project manager with a few years of experience from the management consulting industry and with knowledge and understanding of IT and SAP.

We are looking for a project manager who has an understanding of both finance and IT and who will initially drive the following projects:

- Set up a (smaller) existing company in SAP (which is currently outside of SAP in another ERP system)

- Eliminate one day of bookkeeping by setting up a robust technical solution for the accounts between SAP and our consolidation tool (Cognos)

- Create automatic accounting of supplier invoices

- Create governance (and overview) regarding archiving of accounting information

- Create clarity for roles and permissions within SAP

The project manager will have expert support in the projects from streamleads and specialists in both IT and finance, i.e. the focus on the above project is to hold together and coordinate the projects and ensure that they are delivered.

The role will belong to the Finance Development unit (one of eight units within Group finance) and work for other units within Group Finance. You will report to the Head of Finance Development, but will also have the respective steering group as "requirements setter".

We are looking for a consultant who can start as soon as possible.

Requirements

Must have:

At least 3 years of experience running projects where both finance and IT are involved

Academic degree or similar

Fluent in English and a Nordic language

Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems

Structured and self-driven

Be able to use the office package

Nice to have:

It is an advantage if you can/understand/make yourself understood in more than one Nordic language.

It would be advantageous if you have some knowledge in change management.
