Business Intelligence Analyst (Sportsbook)

The business intelligence analyst is a data analyst with a strong focus on delivering business insights. BI Analysts serve as bridges for data knowledge across departments. They help the business leverage data to identify opportunities for improvement, spot trends, recognize potential issues, and offer solutions. This role aims to improve efficiency, increase productivity, and drive profits for the business.

✍️ Your daily tasks will be

• Provide close support to our Sportsbook and trading department
• Present monthly KPIs to stakeholders
• Proactively support the business in translating the insights from analyses into actions
• Pre-analyse, analyse, and integrate campaign promotions
• Explore complex data sets, extract, and manipulate data from various sources to support further analysis.
• Assist in managing all data warehouse access layers.
• Analyse all available data using statistical methods to identify patterns, trends, and to define new KPIs.
• Support the relationship between the data engineering team and the business.
• Create data visualisations to effectively communicate findings.
• Encourage colleagues to effectively use the self-service reporting platform by providing the necessary training and support.
  
  

✔️ What we expect from you

• Strong knowledge of and interest in sports betting.
• 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex findings in a simple manner.
• Strong reporting and analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good knowledge of SQL.
• Understanding of ETL processes and relational databases.
• Experience with a visualization tool, preferably MicroStrategy or Tableau.
