Android Developer

About the Role:

A multinational client of ours is looking for a freelance Android Engineer who is responsible to build software applications by using relevant development languages and applying knowledge of systems, services and tools appropriate for the business area.

Your responsibilities:

• Understanding the quality of test automation is as important as the production code.
• Collaboration and Support: expected to work together with colleagues in other job roles to design, prioritise and implement technical tasks.
• Owning systems end to end, monitoring performance and key metrics, responding to issues proactively, and implementing measures to maintain stability and reduce business continuity risks.

The requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in Android (Mobile) Development;
• Coding experience in Kotlin or Java;
• Experience with MVVM;
• Experience in complex high traffic organisations;
• Nice to have: Server-UI app-building experience.
