We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a modern cloud-native engineering team building scalable, highly available platforms in an AWS-first environment. This role is heavily focused on platform reliability, automation, observability, and infrastructure engineering rather than traditional software development.

You’ll be working across a serverless and microservices-based architecture using technologies including AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Docker, Terraform, and Datadog to help improve performance, resilience, and developer efficiency across the platform.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing and improving AWS infrastructure across containerised and serverless environments
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tooling
• Managing infrastructure as code with Terraform and/or CloudFormation
• Working with Kubernetes/EKS, ECS, Docker, and microservices platforms
• Improving monitoring, observability, scalability, and platform reliability
• Developing Python scripts and automation tools for operational efficiency and performance testing
• Supporting platform optimisation, incident prevention, and cloud best practices

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years’ experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering environments
• Strong AWS experience across serverless and container platforms
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation
• Strong Kubernetes/EKS and Docker experience
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines
• Python scripting/automation experience (2+ years preferred)
• Good understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture

Nice to have:

• FinOps or cloud cost optimisation experience
• Exposure to AI automation, prompt engineering, or developer tooling
• Platform engineering experience
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Associate etc.)
