L2/L3 Network Engineer

We are currently looking for an experienced L2/L3 Network Engineer to support the enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure of an international organization.

This role focuses on daily network operations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement within a complex multi-site international environment. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks and Cisco Meraki, and is comfortable operating at both operational (L2) and engineering (L3) levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for the global LAN/WAN infrastructure (offices, labs, remote users)
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents related to:
• Routing & switching
• Wi-Fi
• VPN
• Internet connectivity
• Manage and optimize SD-WAN/SASE environments
• Configure and maintain:
• Palo Alto firewalls
• Cisco Meraki MX/MS/MR environments
• Routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF
• Support site deployments, upgrades, and expansions
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify improvements
• Collaborate with security, cloud, and infrastructure teams
• Maintain technical documentation, standards, and runbooks
• Coordinate with external vendors, ISPs, and integrators

Profile

• Hands-on, pragmatic, and solution-oriented
• Able to work independently with international stakeholders
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Fluent in English
• Comfortable working in business-critical environments

Required Skills & Experience

✔️ 5+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering/support (L2/L3)

✔️ Strong hands-on experience with:

• Palo Alto Firewalls (policies, NAT, VPN, troubleshooting)
• Cisco Meraki (dashboard, SD-WAN, switching, wireless)

✔️ Solid knowledge of:

• TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
• Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
• Network segmentation and security principles
• WAN technologies, internet breakouts, and cloud connectivity

✔️ Experience with monitoring tools such as:

• Auvik
• SolarWinds
• Datadog

Nice to Have

➕ Experience with:

• SASE platforms (Palo Alto Prisma, Cato, etc.)
• Cloud networking (Azure/AWS)
• QoS, traffic shaping, and application performance

➕ Certifications such as:

• CCNP
• PCNSE
• Meraki CMNA / CMNP
