Your Role & Responsibilities

As a Back-End Software Developer, you’ll:

• Innovate: Design and enhance systems to deliver greater functionality and usability.

• Collaborate: Work closely with the software engineering team to conceptualize and implement new features.

• Own Your Work: Take operational responsibility for the services and codebase you develop, ensuring performance and reliability.

About You – Skills & Experience

To excel in this role, you should bring:

• Education & Experience:

• A degree in Computer Science (or a related technical field) or equivalent practical experience.

• 3–5 years of experience as a software developer.

• Technical Proficiency:

• Expertise in at least one modern TypeScript framework (React experience is ideal).

• Experience in two or more of the following areas:

• Web application development

• Unix/Linux environments

• Distributed and parallel systems

• Large-scale software development

• Security software development

• Proven experience building REST APIs with Golang.

• Familiarity with microservices infrastructure and tools like Docker, Postman, GitLab, and AWS.

• Mindset & Attributes:

• A passion for continuous learning and self-improvement.

• A commitment to sound engineering practices such as continuous delivery, automated testing, and defensive programming.

• An ability to design and build scalable, distributed systems.
