This company is driving medical DX by offering a smartphone app as a management platform to replace PHS systems in hospitals, guided by the vision of "creating a medical ICT platform and digitizing medical care."

Currently, over 90% of medical institutions still rely on PHS and fax machines. To address these challenges in a field burdened by analog tasks such as paperwork and outdated communication tools, their app integrates features like chat, extension calls, nurse call systems, and electronic medical record integration.

Looking ahead, the company plans to enhance the app by adding new features, expanding collaboration with other applications, and supporting healthcare workers by improving work efficiency, driving work style reforms, and advancing the digital transformation of hospital management.

Job Description:

You will be responsible for developing the backend of the smartphone application for the company's in-house product, a management platform application for medical institutions.

This app has been adopted by more than 50 hospitals nationwide and is growing as a service used by more than 20,000 people. With the recent increase in users, the company needs to ass functional improvements and implementation of new functions. They are looking for an engineer to incorporate user feedback into their products and provide value promptly.

Key responsibilities

You will be primarily responsible for developing APIs using Node.js/TypeScript.

• API design and development
• Database design
• Framework library version updates
• Troubleshooting code, fixing bugs, and optimizing performance

Depending on your preference and the development situation, you may also work on:

• Infrastructure (AWS) design, development, and deployment
• Efforts to improve quality (CI/CD)

Must-Have Experiences/Skills:

• At least 2 years of experience in software development (any programming language)
• Experience in source code maintenance
• Backend development experience
• Proficiency in Node.js / TypeScript
• Conversational-level Japanese language ability (e.g., JLPT N2 or equivalent)
