Senior Network Engineer

Title: Senior Network Engineer (Contract)

Location: Dublin(Onsite 5 Days per Week)

Duration: 6-Month Initial Contract

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join a dynamic technology team in Dublin on an initial 6-month contract. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong enterprise networking experience who enjoys working in complex, fast-paced environments

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
• Troubleshooting network incidents and performance issues across LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and data centre environments.
• Configuring and supporting routers, switches, firewalls, and network security solutions.
• Monitoring network performance and implementing improvements to ensure high availability.
• Supporting network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure projects.
• Collaborating with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to deliver reliable network services.
• Maintaining network documentation and operational procedures.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP).
• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies.
• Experience supporting firewalls and network security solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in an onsite environment.
• Experience with wireless networking technologies.
• Exposure to cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
