Test Engineer

We’re looking for a French-speaking IT Test Engineer m/f to join our client in Luxembourg.

Location: Luxembourg

Mode: On-site with partial teleworking flexibility.

Contract: CDI

Language requirement: Fluent English & French.

Salary: To be discussed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in test automation.
• Proven experience coaching, mentoring, or training technical teams.
• Strong expertise in test automation for SIT, End-to-End (E2E), and API testing.
• Experience with at least one of the following tools: Tosca, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Robot Framework, or UFT.
• Experience designing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and automated testing integration.
• Experience defining and implementing enterprise test automation strategies.
• Experience conducting Proofs of Concept (PoCs) for automation technologies.
• Good SQL skills and experience managing test data.
• Strong technical leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Banking or financial services experience is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Define and implement the bank's test automation strategy across multiple projects.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
• Automate SIT, End-to-End (E2E), and API testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
• Conduct Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to evaluate and recommend automation tools and best practices.
• Manage test data to ensure reliable and repeatable test execution.
• Provide technical leadership and act as an Automation Coach for QA and development teams.
• Deliver workshops, training sessions, and mentoring to improve team capabilities in test automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote automation best practices and continuous quality improvement.
• Analyze testing challenges and propose effective, scalable automation solutions.
