What will be your role

We are looking for a passionate AI Engineer to join our innovative team and focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Generative AI (GenAI) solutions. In this role, you will design and develop AI systems, leveraging cutting-edge tools and frameworks, with a strong focus on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions to deliver impactful projects in collaboration with key stakeholders.

• Develop and implement Generative AI solutions, including RAG systems, to optimize information retrieval and enhance AI-driven applications.
• Engage in hands-on development of APIs and the deployment of AI/ML models.
• Apply DevOps and MLOps principles to create and manage CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable workflows.
• Utilize Microsoft Azure AI services to design scalable and robust AI solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Employ Docker or Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of AI models.
• Ensure compliance with data governance standards and versioning practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Who will work by your side

You will collaborate with a prestigious client in the banking sector that has recently created a Center of Excellence in AI. The client has already developed governance models, frameworks, and best practices, and is now focusing on the development of impactful AI/GenAI use cases, with significant emphasis on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.

What should you bring to the team

• + 5 years of professional experience with proven expertise in AI/ML and Generative AI algorithms, with practical experience in developing RAG systems and integrating them into business solutions.
• Hands-on experience in designing and deploying AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) and retrieval-augmented techniques.
• Strong programming skills, particularly in Python.
• Proficiency in developing and integrating APIs to enhance system functionality.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with DevOps/MLOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and version control tools.
• Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft Azure AI services, with a focus on leveraging advanced AI capabilities.
• Ability to convert business requirements into actionable technical specifications, bridging the gap between stakeholders and technology.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and on your own;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data analytics into business processes and decision-making;
• Fluent in portuguese;
• Availability to work in a hybrid model (1-2 days per week) in Lisbon;
• Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English;
