Threat Protection Department Manager (Hybrid)

What We’re Looking For

• Preferably graduated from Computer engineering, Electronic engineering, Software engineering departments
• Have at least 10 years of experience in a managerial role in Cybersecurity
• To have knowledge and practical experience in Security Processes and Technologies such as Data Security, Endpoint Security and Network Security
• Having a Specific Certificate such as CISSP, CISM] (preferred)
• Ability to think analytically, multi-task, result-oriented, ability to communicate with all levels of the organization

What You’ll Do

• Understanding of threats and cyberattack techniques.
• Use and configuration of cybersecurity tools and solutions.
• Expertise in network and system security.
• Incident response and security investigation skills.
• Managing the necessary technological infrastructure for effectively preventing cybersecurity threats, monitoring health status, and performing updates.
• Customizing security detection and prevention systems for preventing attacks on DenizBank and its subsidiaries.
• Managing security systems within the scope of the team's responsibilities.
• Ability to assess the risks posed by threats to the organization.
• Experience in developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and managers.
• Experience in team management, guiding and motivating team members.
• Allocating control mechanisms for all tasks carried out by the team and taking ultimate responsibility for these tasks.
• Ability to understand how threats can impact the organization's overall strategic objectives.
• Defining cybersecurity goals within the framework of the cybersecurity strategic plan and ensuring alignment of decisions with the strategic plan.
• Identifying and developing new technologies and integrations to ensure cybersecurity resilience.
• Establishing proactive working relationships with strategic stakeholders and maintaining close communication with these stakeholders for effective risk management within the scope of activities.
• Evaluating and analyzing the impact of DFHG unit strategies on the team.
• Responsible for all human resources matters, such as performance, career, training, and development.
• Desire and ability to continuously update one's security expertise.
• Continuous monitoring of industry developments and threats, identifying deficiencies in the existing security infrastructure, and making necessary improvements.
• Establishing standards and procedures for the repeated and highly knowledge-dependent responsibilities to serve as a reference.
• Creating strategic and tactical plans for the continuous development of subordinates to enhance their overall experience and ensure their alignment with the institution's vision, mission, strategy, and objectives.
• Ability to respond rapidly and effectively to security incidents and cyberattacks.
• High ethical standards and reliability.
