Senior Project Program Manager - Up to 550 EUR per day

My client based in Dublin City Centre are currently on the lookout for a Senior Project/Program Manager to join their team, for an initial 12 month contract.

This position is a hybrid working role. The client requires 3 days per week onsite in Dublin City Centre.

Responsibilities:

• Create, manage, and report on key milestones that make up the various programs and projects that the division is delivering against
• Business Management related functions supporting programs/projects – Budget & capacity planning
• Responsible for all executive management reporting, and the preparation and delivery of all supporting collateral including but not limited to the full maintenance of the project/program
• Daily program management and oversite throughout the lifecycle of transformation programs
• Focus on the creation and implementation of a robust Project governance (controls) structure for the Issuer Services technology group
• Manage the risks and issues of the program and work with the teams to take corrective measurements
• Manage all stakeholders’ communication
• Interact with the PMO group to manage the main program documentations
• Interact and manage the relationship with the assigned technical lead/ teams to understand critical milestones, deliveries, and releases
• Asses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Experience required:

• Advanced years of experience as a Project and Program Manager. Strong and proven practical experience in project management, which was gained through successfully managing large and complex projects.
• Some years’ experience leading projects through Agile/Iterative methodologies.
• Significant experience using JIRA to manage Sprints and project delivery.
• Scrum Master and PMP certification strongly desired
• Experience working in a technology division of a large banking institution desired
• Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved in program management

• Strong ability to influence without authority
• A bachelor's degree of Science in business management, administration (or any relevant degree), with proven experience in Program Management tools and techniques
