About The Role
As a Frontend Developer at Branch, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining the user-facing features of our product. You will collaborate closely with design, product, and backend teams to ensure seamless and intuitive user experiences. This role will challenge you to continuously improve product functionality, architecture, and design, all while maintaining our high standards of quality and performance.
You will contribute to creating reusable, scalable frontend components and work on a modern tech stack, including React, TypeScript, and CSS-in-JS. Your work will directly impact the company’s ability to innovate and scale, driving the future of financial freedom for workers across the U.S.

About The Role
As a Frontend Developer at Branch, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining the user-facing features of our product. You will collaborate closely with design, product, and backend teams to ensure seamless and intuitive user experiences. This role will challenge you to continuously improve product functionality, architecture, and design, all while maintaining our high standards of quality and performance.
You will contribute to creating reusable, scalable frontend components and work on a modern tech stack, including React, TypeScript, and CSS-in-JS. Your work will directly impact the company’s ability to innovate and scale, driving the future of financial freedom for workers across the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Create production-ready features for various frontend applications.
- Develop reusable components that balance flexibility and pragmatism.
- Collaborate with the design team to give feedback, create prototypes, and iterate on product requirements quickly.
- Work with the backend team to develop API contracts and debug issues.
- Assist in writing internal documentation, follow best practices, and suggest improvements.
- 3+ years of experience in frontend application development.
- Expert-level knowledge in React, intermediate TypeScript, and advanced CSS and CSS-in-JS.
- Preferable experience with TanStack Query, TanStack Table, React Router, and state management libraries.
- Strong focus on component extensibility, responsiveness, and awareness of accessibility (a11y).
- Strong design intuition is preferred.
- Experience and/or exposure to backend technologies.
- Base Salary: $140,000 - $145,000 annually (varies based on experience, skill set, and education).
