About The Role

As a Front End Developer (Software Engineer II), you will join a newly formed, high-impact team responsible for building the next-generation user interface for FranklinCovey’s 4 Disciplines of Execution (4DX) platform. This responsive, multilingual platform will serve a global audience across both desktop and mobile devices. You will play a key role in creating performant, accessible React components and supporting internationalization for more than 20 languages. This is a remote role reporting to the Engineering Manager.

Location: Remote (Contiguous United States)

Compensation: $135,000 – $160,000 annually (based on experience and location)

Responsibilities

• Write clean, testable, and maintainable frontend code using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Develop accessible and responsive UI components that meet WCAG 2.2 AA standards
• Implement internationalization features to support global translation workflows
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and product teams from ideation through delivery
• Participate early in the product lifecycle, contributing to design decisions and roadmap planning
• Support other developers by providing accessibility guidance and best practices
• Continuously improve frontend architecture and code quality through refactoring and performance tuning
• Engage in a highly collaborative, written-communication-first team culture
  
  

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong emphasis on frontend development
• Deep understanding of accessibility standards and tools (e.g., screen readers, contrast analyzers)
• Strong knowledge of React, JavaScript, and frontend architecture principles
• Experience developing responsive applications for mobile and desktop platforms
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to advocate via writing

• Familiarity with TypeScript, Python, Django
• Experience with internationalization tools and libraries
• Background in shipping scalable applications in a cross-functional environment
• Proven track record of mentoring others on accessibility implementation
