About The Role

We are seeking a Front-End Software Engineer passionate about building engaging, scalable products for managing and visualizing large-scale distributed real-time data streams. You will help make data flow intuitive and attractive by developing user interfaces that scale with Apache Kafka. You will work with a modern stack built on TypeScript and React, integrating with REST and GraphQL APIs, and deploying daily with feature flags and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop new front-end features based on user requirements and iterate on feedback
• Build and enhance platform-as-a-service (PaaS) products for data management and visualization
• Collaborate with backend engineers to vet API contracts and ensure optimal user experience despite backend constraints
• Work closely with designers to implement UI components, styling, and interactions according to specifications
• Partner with product managers to deliver an excellent user experience
• Develop comprehensive test plans and obtain stakeholder approval post-development
• Monitor, deploy, and manage large-scale system releases
• Triage bugs and troubleshoot production issues as they arise
• Participate actively in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
• Build internal tooling to streamline workflows and improve productivity
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field, graduated in 2022 or graduating by June 2025
• Self-driven with the ability to independently manage projects under mentorship and guidelines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in teams
• Passionate about making an impact in a fast-paced, innovative environment
• Experience developing web applications using React and Flux architectures
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript tooling such as Gulp, Grunt, Webpack, and Babel
• Solid foundation in algorithms and application design principles
  
  

Compensation And Benefits

• Annual fixed salary dependent on degree level: Bachelor’s $138,800 / Master’s $141,600
• Eligible for annual bonus and competitive equity package
