About The Role

We are looking for a Web Developer (PHP) to join our team in a flexible capacity—full-time, part-time, or contract. This role is ideal for someone who can design and implement custom web solutions with limited structure or defined scope. You’ll lead digital transformation projects by integrating systems (CRM, fintech, LMS) and simplifying existing tech stacks. This is a hybrid position based in Vancouver, with some in-office presence required each week.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Client-Facing:

• Lead and deliver end-to-end web projects with changing scopes and timelines.
• Translate business needs into technical plans and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders.
• Keep corporate websites up-to-date, using WordPress for theming, plugin implementation, and custom builds.
• Ensure intranet and internal web applications are maintained, operational, and meet business needs.
  
  

Back-End & Integration Work

• Build scalable custom web applications and enhance the "Intranet" suite to reduce manual administrative work.
• Integrate APIs across platforms including websites, CRMs, fintech tools, and LMS platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, server, and database issues.
• Maintain web operations, including DNS, SSL, and server management.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong command of the LAMP stack, Vanilla PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS/SASS/SCSS, and Debian.
• WordPress expertise: theming, plugin use, and administration.
• Familiarity with UI/UX principles, responsive design, and security best practices.
• Proven experience in API integration and developing custom admin tools.
• Experience using Plesk or Shell/CLI for server administration.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; ability to convey technical risks to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality results under evolving requirements.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices is a plus.
