Data Scientist

We are looking for a new colleague to join an exciting project with our client in Sweden.

Location: Malmö or Helsingborg, Sweden (2–3 days/week onsite).

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

• Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical leadership role
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery for analytics
• Hands-on experience with Grafana and Prometheus for observability
• Familiarity with Splunk for log analysis and OpenTelemetry (OTel) for instrumentation
• Expertise in machine learning for anomaly detection, forecasting, and noise reduction
• Ability to analyze complex datasets and extract actionable insights
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience guiding data teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience integrating observability data with business context
• Ability to drive innovation in analytical methods and tools
• Passion for continuous improvement in data pipelines and workflows
• Familiarity with incident prioritization based on data-driven insights
• Valid EU work permit making you able to work in Sweden right away
• Strong English skills - both oral and written

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Support the development of our client’s Observability Platform, which provides insights into the availability and reliability of digital products
• Lead efforts to enhance the platform with advanced analytics, predictive capabilities, and machine learning to improve incident management and business decision-making
