About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Staff Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining our cutting-edge web platform that facilitates fractional real estate ownership. Your expertise in React and TypeScript will be crucial in creating seamless, user-friendly interfaces that enhance the investor experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers, to translate product requirements into high-quality, scalable solutions. As a senior technical leader, you will influence the platform’s architecture, mentor junior developers, and help shape the company’s engineering culture. Qualifications

• At least 7 years of engineering experience, preferably including previous experience at a venture-backed startup
• Proficiency in React and TypeScript
• Strong understanding of frontend development best practices and design principles
• Experience building, launching, and maintaining scalable products at scale
• Knowledge of modern frontend tools and frameworks such as Tailwind, Next.js, and GraphQL is a plus
• Familiarity with backend technologies like Node.js, DynamoDB, and AWS is advantageous
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment
• Passion for Fractional’s mission and empathy for users’ needs

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of new product features, including task breakdown, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance
• Create simple, elegant, and maintainable code that enhances user experience and product stability
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate specifications into functional, high-quality features
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve platform performance, usability, and business processes
• Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning
• Influence the technical direction of the platform, including architecture decisions and technology choices
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team planning activities
• Help shape the engineering culture by promoting best practices, documentation, and collaborative problem-solving
