Java Developer

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join a team working within the Authorization domain of a leading financial institution. The role involves working with both legacy and modern systems, contributing to the full development lifecycle — from design to deployment.

You will work with a mix of new development, 3rd-line support, and system maintenance. A key part of this role is responsibility for building robust, testable solutions and ensuring they are successfully deployed to production.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design, development, and testing of software within the Authorization area
• Manage end-to-end deployment of developed solutions into production
• Handle 3rd-line support and troubleshoot production issues
• Work with a combination of monolithic systems and modern microservices
• Build and maintain automated tests to ensure high-quality releases
• Contribute to technical discussions and drive continuous improvements
• Collaborate in an Agile team setup

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Java Developer
• Strong knowledge of Java 17/21
• Experience with Oracle databases
• Proficient in OpenShift and Kafka
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and test-driven development
• Ability to contribute to system architecture and design
• Fluent in Swedish and English (both written and spoken)
