DevOps Engineer

Junior DevOps Engineers (4 x Roles!)

Location: Melbourne - Contract opportunities - 6months +

We are seeking Junior DevOps Engineers to join our client’s team in Melbourne. If you have 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in automation and DevOps.

Roles Available:

• 2 positions requiring proficiency in Python (1-2 years of experience)
• 2 positions requiring proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (1-2 years of experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Automation Development: Design and maintain automation scripts for end-to-end testing and test data management, utilizing tools such as Selenium, Python, or RPA frameworks (e.g., UiPath).
• Test Data Management: Create and manage scripts for test data, ensuring comprehensive datasets across different environments.
• Application Development Support: Work with development teams to automate workflows and support development projects.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvements to enhance automation efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation and report progress to senior developers and QA teams.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with tools like Playwright, WebdriverIO, Cypress, or RobotFramework.
• Test Data Management: Familiarity with SQL and data extraction techniques.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to address and resolve automation issues.
• Collaboration: Team-oriented, contributing to code reviews and knowledge-sharing.
