Data Scientist

STACC is looking for a curious and capable Data Scientist to join our AI team in Tartu. In this role, you’ll build machine learning models that power smart decision-making and enable automation across diverse industries – from energy and e-commerce to digital government and industry.

What you'll do

As a Data Scientist at STACC, you will:

• Develop and deliver data-driven solutions that create tangible value for clients
• Use Python, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn to build and evaluate ML models
• Work with Git, Jupyter Notebooks, and relational databases to ensure reusable workflows
• Create clear, impactful visualizations (experience with Matplotlib Pyplot is a plus)
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and developers to ensure high technical quality
• Help shape best practices and contribute to team knowledge
• Explore new tools and approaches, expanding our tech stack as needed

What we're looking for

• Have a Master’s degree or at least 2 years of experience in data science
• See the big picture and enjoy solving complex problems
• Are flexible and thrive in diverse projects and domains
• Think analytically and approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset
• Communicate clearly in both Estonian and English
• Are eager to explore new technologies and fresh ideas
