STACC is looking for a curious and capable Data Scientist to join our AI team in Tartu. What you'll do

As a Data Scientist, you`ll:

• contribute to the development and delivery of data-driven solutions that create real value for clients;
• apply your skills in Python to build and evaluate machine learning models;
• use Git, Jupyter Notebooks, and relational databases in your day-to-day work to ensure smooth and reusable workflows;
• create clear and insightful graphs and visualizations (knowledge of matplotlib is a plus);
• collaborate closely with other data scientists, data engineers, and developers to ensure technical integrity and high quality in projects;
• help define best practices and guidelines for data scientists;
• explore and test new tools, integrating them into our broad and evolving tech stack.

What we're looking for 

You’re a great fit if you:

• have at least a Master’s degree (or expect to graduate by spring) and a minimum of 2 years of experience in data science;
• communicate well in both Estonian and English;
• are an open-minded team player who can see the big picture;
• are flexible and able to work across a variety of projects and domains;
• have an entrepreneurial, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset;
• are curious about new technologies and eager to try fresh approaches;
• are ready to work full-time in Tartu.
