Software Tester (Automated + Manual)

Markit is a global B2B e-procurement software company transforming how businesses purchase IT products. We integrate 350+ leading IT distributors into a single, real-time cloud platform, enabling companies in 50+ countries to save time, cut costs, and simplify IT procurement.

As we migrate our on-premises platform to the cloud, we are looking for a skilled end-to-end Software Tester to ensure quality and reliability for our global customers. You’ll validate the full user journey through both automated and manual testing.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated UI tests (Playwright, Selenium, or similar).
• Create, execute, and maintain manual test cases for new features, bug fixes, and regressions.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners on requirements and test strategies.
• Report test results clearly and effectively.
• Contribute to sprint planning with insights on test coverage and risks.

What we’re looking for

Technical skills

• Experience with UI test automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, etc.).
• Familiarity with C#, JavaScript, Python, or similar for writing tests.
• Experience with version control (Git).
• Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and browser behaviour.
• Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured).

Manual testing skills

• Ability to design and execute test plans.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Experience with bug tracking tools (Azure DevOps, Jira).

Bonus points

• Performance testing tools (JMeter).
• ISTQB or similar certification.
• Experience in e-commerce or B2B platforms.
• CI/CD integration for automated tests.
• Cross-browser and cross-device testing.

Soft skills

• Good communication in English (spoken and written).
• Proactive, organised, and able to work independently or in a team.
• Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.
