DevOps Lead (Path to CTO) | Hyper Growth Startup | $160k + Super

Pearon Carter are working with an company who is focused on staying ahead in a rapidly evolving industry, constantly adapting to meet changing customer needs.

Their suite of staffing and recruitment products is always evolving — starting with a platform that redefined casual employment by empowering workers to manage their own careers, and continuing with tools that streamline permanent recruitment and internal hiring.

Due to consistent growth, they are looking for a seasoned DevOps engineer with a direct path to CTO!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Architect, deploy, and enhance cloud-based and hybrid infrastructure using AWS
• Leverage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) to streamline automation and accelerate deployments.
• Strengthen system reliability, security, and performance across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in cloud services, applications, and infrastructure.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes.

What You’ll Bring:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with scripting and programming (Bash, Python, JSON, YAML, etc.).
• 3+ years working with AWS Well-Architected Framework and AWS technologies.
• 5+ years experience using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, etc.).
• Deep expertise in AWS networking services and concepts.
• Strong proficiency in container technologies (Docker, ECS, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build automation tools.
• Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC-2).
• Familiarity with ITIL methodologies.

Salary

They offer an excellent salary of up to $160,000 + Super.
