About the Role
We’re seeking a Java Full Stack Developer (Freelance) to join our client’s advanced IT team in Brussels for a 12-month mission, with potential for extension. This is your opportunity to drive high-impact web development projects, shaping digital experiences that matter. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications using Java, Spring Boot/Spring MVC, and Vue.js
- Implement and manage APIs to ensure secure and efficient data exchange
- Configure and maintain the Magnolia CMS, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
- Deliver responsive, high-quality HTML/CSS for seamless user experiences across devices
- Drive continuous improvement through bug fixes, enhancements, and proactive maintenance
- Collaborate within Agile teams, contributing to sprint planning, code reviews, and solution design
- Utilize ALM/DevOps tools (Git, VSTS, pipeline release) for streamlined development and deployment
Technical Skills
- Java (3–5 years confirmed experience)
- Spring Boot / Spring MVC (3–5 years confirmed experience)
- Vue.js (3–5 years confirmed experience)
- Magnolia CMS (3–5 years confirmed experience)
- API implementation and management (3–5 years confirmed experience)
- Responsive HTML/CSS development (3–5 years confirmed experience)
- ALM/DevOps: Git, VSTS, pipeline release (3–5 years confirmed experience)
Other Requirements
- Proven experience working in Agile environments
- Ownership mindset with a passion for building and delivering impactful solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills and a drive for continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus
