About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in building, scaling, and evolving our end-to-end virtual healthcare platform. Your expertise will help deliver seamless, human-centered digital healthcare experiences, from creating intuitive front-end interfaces to developing scalable and secure back-end systems. You will collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and clinical teams to develop innovative solutions that enhance virtual care accessibility and effectiveness. This position offers a unique opportunity to impact the future of virtual healthcare technology, working in a fast-paced environment that values proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement. Your contributions will directly influence how patients and providers experience virtual care, making a meaningful difference in healthcare delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack software development experience
• Proficiency with frontend technologies: JavaScript/TypeScript, React or similar frameworks
• Proficiency with backend technologies: Node.js, Express or similar frameworks
• Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or equivalent
• Strong experience in building and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with modern data warehousing platforms like Snowflake
• Understanding of security best practices and privacy regulations (HIPAA preferred)
• Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional, agile teams within fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Startup mindset: proactive, hands-on, and eager to tackle ambiguous challenges
  
  

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain full-stack applications utilizing modern frameworks and technologies
• Design and implement secure, scalable APIs to support virtual care workflows
• Create responsive, accessible user interfaces that cater to diverse user needs across patient and provider journeys
• Collaborate with product and design teams to prototype, iterate, and deploy new features efficiently
• Ensure compliance with data privacy standards and HIPAA regulations across the platform
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code; participate in peer code reviews and pair programming sessions
• Contribute to technical decision-making, infrastructure planning, and overall system architecture
• Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues based on user feedback and data analytics
• Stay current with industry trends in web development, healthcare technology, and DevOps practices to foster innovation
