About the Role

RELYzIT Talent is seeking a senior Functional Tester/Scrum Master (Freelance) to join our client’s Digitalization and Organization team for a 5-month project in Brussels. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and agility of business-critical applications that support essential on-site audit processes. What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and facilitate the Scrum process within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring smooth sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog management using tools like Omnitracker and TFS (Team Foundation Server).
• Administer and optimize product and sprint backlogs, proactively identifying and reporting exceptions or blockers to the project manager.
• Design, execute, and document comprehensive system, integration, and regression tests for in-house applications, guaranteeing the highest standards of software quality.
• Develop and maintain detailed test plans, collaborating closely with IT and business stakeholders to resolve operational issues and deliver high-quality releases.
• Act as the primary point of contact for error reporting and defect tracking, ensuring timely retesting and resolution of production issues.
• Support business teams in the use of tablets and applications for on-site inspections, providing hands-on assistance and process guidance.

Technical Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of demonstrable experience as a Functional Tester, including formal testing methods and techniques.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle and advanced query writing.
• 5+ years of proven experience as a Scrum Master, driving Agile delivery in complex environments.
• 5+ years of experience testing large, business-critical applications.
• Demonstrable experience supporting business users in operational processes.
• Proficiency with TFS (Team Foundation Server) for backlog and defect management.
• Strong knowledge and experience with XML.
• Experience with Omnitracker for workflow and process management.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools, especially SPOTFIRE.
• Experience with specialist testing suites or tools.
• Knowledge of Common Agricultural Policy regulations is a plus.

Language Proficiency

• Fluency in Dutch at European CEFR level C2 is required.

Other Requirements

• This is a freelance position for a 5-month assignment (estimated 800 hours, full-time).
• Remote work is possible, with on-site presence as needed.
• Project delivered under a framework contract (2022–2027).
• Candidate selection is based on 50% quality and 50% price.
