About The Role

We are seeking a talented and reliable Front End Developer to join our dynamic team. In this fully remote, full-time position, you will work closely with our marketing and design teams to develop, enhance, and maintain the user interface of our marketing website and application. Your primary focus will be on creating visually appealing, responsive, and user-friendly web pages that align with our brand and user experience goals. You will play a key role in translating wireframes and mock-ups into functional web components, ensuring optimal performance and search engine visibility. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a driven developer to make a tangible impact from day one, utilizing modern web technologies to improve our digital presence and user engagement.

Qualifications

  • Proven proficiency in HTML, CSS, HTML5, and JavaScript
  • 3–5 years of experience in WordPress web development, including theme customization and manipulation
  • 2+ years of experience implementing and maintaining Design Systems
  • Experience working with modern front-end stacks such as React and JavaScript frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of responsive web design principles using CSS preprocessors like Less or Sass
  • Experience with performance optimization techniques, SEO best practices, and architectural considerations
  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and CDN caching strategies
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

Responsibilities

  • Develop and build new web pages, optimize existing pages, and maintain the overall health of the website backend
  • Collaborate with UX designers to translate wireframes and mock-ups into functional, visually appealing web pages
  • Ensure website responsiveness across devices and optimize for search engines
  • Implement performance enhancements to improve web metrics such as load speed and user engagement
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end technologies
  • Maintain and update the WhatConverts Website Design System and Components Library
  • Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and incorporate them to enhance usability and efficiency
  • Maintain security updates, themes, and plugins to ensure website integrity and performance
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support product launches and website improvements
