Project Coordinator – Energy Infrastructure
About the Role
The energy transition is bringing more work than ever before. With more electric cars on the road, homes transitioning away from natural gas, new gas types, and customers feeding energy back into the grid, projects are increasing in size and complexity. Coordinating these projects will be your job as a Project Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the work from the moment of application through to financial close.
- Manage multiple customer requests daily, ranging from 200–500 depending on size, complexity, and experience.
- Interact with colleagues and customers to ensure requests are handled efficiently using a work order system and reporting tool.
- Ensure projects are properly prepared and schedules aligned with clients.
- Make adjustments and inform stakeholders when plans change.
- Manage progress, quality, and budget, including timely delivery of materials and verification of additional work and performance declarations.
- Serve as a role model within the team, taking initiative to develop pragmatic solutions.
- Motivate and coach colleagues, actively collaborating and connecting with others.
- Apply acquired knowledge and experience to improve processes and embrace changes necessary for the energy transition
Requirements
- Demonstrable ability to work and think at a higher professional level.
- Minimum 3 years of technical work experience (e.g., work preparation or project coordinator experience).
- Knowledge of and experience in (the construction of) underground infrastructure is a plus.
