About the Role

We’re seeking a Medior Scrum Master to join our client’s team in Brussels on a freelance basis for a 9-month project. This is a hybrid role designed for a builder who thrives on enabling high-performing teams to deliver impactful solutions. You’ll be at the heart of Agile transformation, driving collaboration and continuous improvement to shape the future of digital products.

Your leadership will ensure projects stay on track, deliver value, and set new standards for excellence in product development.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Coach and mentor teams on Agile and Scrum principles, driving a culture of ownership and continuous improvement
• Identify and remove impediments to team progress, ensuring smooth delivery cycles
• Promote open communication and effective collaboration across teams and stakeholders
• Support backlog prioritization and alignment with business objectives
• Track key performance indicators and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues transparently to stakeholders
• Champion adherence to the Scrum framework and Agile best practices

Technical Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments
• Expertise in Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Proven experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and driving team performance
• Strong command of Jira and other Agile project management tools
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement

Language Proficiency

• English – Nice to have
• French or Dutch – Nice to have

Other Requirements

• Freelance position – 9 months, hybrid model in Brussels
• Regular contract, no broker fee
