About The Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Staff iOS Engineer to join our dynamic software studio in Toronto. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for motivating, managing, and inspiring a team of software engineers to deliver cutting-edge mobile applications that enhance our customer experience. You will participate directly in hands-on development, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and innovative products. Your expertise will help shape the future of our mobile platform, supporting initiatives such as Credit Keeper, Personal Information management, and Quick Check for credit approval predictions.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field, with a strong foundation in software development
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience developing native iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI
- Extensive experience in application design, technical architecture, and full-cycle development
- Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring junior, intermediate, and senior developers
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Own and lead the delivery of major components and platform needs in partnership with senior engineers and architects, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards
- Work as part of a dynamic mobile development team throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from planning to deployment and maintenance
- Enhance software engineering practices by designing, developing, testing, and supporting technical solutions across multiple tools and technologies
- Contribute expertise on how emerging technologies impact the domain, and recommend innovative solutions to improve product performance and user experience
- Mentor and guide junior, intermediate, and senior mobile engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver high-quality mobile applications
- Ensure code quality, security, and scalability standards are maintained across all projects
