About The Role
As a Cloud and Data Solutions Engineer at Reply Group, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based architectures tailored for data-intensive applications, with a focus on machine learning and artificial intelligence. Your responsibilities will include developing innovative technical approaches for cloud adoption, leveraging platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), as well as integrating on-premises infrastructures to create seamless hybrid solutions. You will automate repetitive tasks through modern DevOps and MLOps practices, significantly reducing time-to-market for our clients’ projects. Your expertise will help ensure the stability, security, and compliance of machine learning solutions by establishing monitoring, failover, and recovery infrastructures aligned with the latest regulatory standards. Collaboration is key, and you will work closely with clients, enterprise architects, data scientists, and engineers to translate complex business requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions. Qualifications
- Degree in a quantitative or business-related field such as Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, Mathematics, or Business Administration.
- Practical experience with DevOps and MLOps principles, including automation, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, and data platforms like Databricks.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and experience with programming languages including Python, Java, and Scala.
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL database technologies, as well as data lake architectures.
- Understanding of cloud architecture design, operating systems like Unix/Linux, and application deployment environments.
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English, with the ability to present technical concepts convincingly to stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel within Germany as required for client engagements and project deployment.
- Design and develop technical strategies for cloud deployments, focusing on data-intensive applications involving machine learning and artificial intelligence.
- Create, implement, and visualize cloud architectures on AWS, Azure, GCP, or hybrid on-premises infrastructures tailored to client needs.
- Automate routine tasks and workflows using state-of-the-art DevOps and MLOps methodologies to enhance project efficiency and reduce delivery times.
- Establish and maintain monitoring, failover, and disaster recovery infrastructures to ensure high availability and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand detailed business requirements and translate them into scalable, production-ready cloud solutions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including data scientists, data engineers, and enterprise architects—to develop data platforms such as data warehouses, lakes, and integrated analytics solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in cloud computing, machine learning, and data engineering to continuously improve project outcomes.
