Medverse builds interactive training applications for medical devices and procedures targeting PC, Web and VR. We help healthcare professionals master complex equipment through simulation-based learning, delivered via cloud streaming to enterprise clients worldwide.

We're a small team building a scalable platform from scratch. This is an opportunity to shape both the product and how we work.

The Role

You'll build and maintain the cloud infrastructure that powers our training platform. Session management, analytics pipelines, LMS integrations, and the APIs that connect everything together.

You'll work on:

• Firebase Cloud Functions and Firestore
• REST APIs for Unity client integration
• LTI 1.3 integrations with enterprise learning management systems
• Analytics pipelines (BigQuery, data exports)
• Infrastructure monitoring and alerting
• Security and compliance for enterprise healthcare clients

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years backend development experience
• Strong with TypeScript/JavaScript or Python
• Experience with serverless architectures and cloud platforms
• Solid understanding of API design and authentication flows
• Awareness of security best practices and data privacy requirements
• High attention to detail and quality standards
• Strong sense of ownership. You see things through, not just to "done" but to "done well"
• Good English communication (German is a plus)

Bonus points for: Firebase/GCP experience, AWS, LTI or enterprise integrations, Unity.
