What You’ll Be Doing

• Translating business requirements into high-quality, maintainable Swift code for iOS platforms
• Designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, reusable, and reliable code
• Collaborating with cross-functional Agile squads to deliver new features and enhancements
• Integrating with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and external data sources
• Ensuring optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Writing and maintaining robust unit tests, focusing on edge cases and usability
• Identifying and resolving bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues
• Championing code quality, organization, and automation within the team
• Actively sharing knowledge, challenging requirements, and contributing to continuous team improvement

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in iOS development
• Deep understanding of Apple’s iOS design principles, interface guidelines, and best practices
• Proven expertise in Swift and iOS SDKs across multiple versions
• Strong grasp of clean code principles and effective refactoring
• Hands-on experience with test-driven development (TDD)
• Proficiency with version control (SVN/Git, Gitlab or alternatives), Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, Confluence, and JIRA
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Practical experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, with a strong Agile mindset
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Preparedness to engage in pair programming and active knowledge sharing
• Continuous learner who thrives on feedback and team success

Technical Skills

• Swift (mandatory)
• iOS SDK (multiple versions)
• RESTful APIs integration
• SVN/Git, Gitlab or alternatives
• Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify
• Confluence, JIRA
• Continuous Integration/Deployment
• Test-driven development (TDD)
• Preferable: Knowledge of Docker, Containers, Groovy

Language Proficiency

• Sound knowledge of English
• Proficiency in at least one local language (French or Dutch)

Other Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent by experience
• Demonstrated experience in large, multi-developer Agile teams
