Junior Full Stack Developer

Hays IT Contracting is a cooperation based on B2B rules. We connect IT specialists with the most interesting technological projects on the market. For our client, a leading company in the automotive industry, we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of Junior Full Stack Developer.

Work mode: hybrid (Kraków, 3-4 days on-site)

Compensation: 90-104 PLN PLN/h net

Contract type: B2B

Start date: ASAP (max. 2 weeks)

Project and Role Overview:

You will join a project related to the development of high-complexity infotainment systems for a premium automotive client. The project is currently in the Design Validation (DV) phase and focuses on internal tools and software components supporting infotainment modules with multiple interfaces, including displays, cameras, connectivity (Ethernet, BT/WiFi), and audio systems. You will work in a small, close-knit development team, while being part of a much larger international program. The team follows Agile methodology with two-week sprints and works closely with engineers from different domains.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze, implement and test software requirements
• Develop software components using fullstack technologies
• Support the development of internal tools used within the project
• Contribute to maintaining code quality and team best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Min. 1 year of commercial programming experience in full‑stack development using JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with Node.js on the backend
• Experience with at least one frontend framework: React, Angular or Vue
• Experience working with SQL databases (e.g. MySQL or PostgreSQL)
• Hands‑on experience with Visual Studio Code
• Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into working solutions
• Good command of English (min. B2)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of programming experience in JavaScript / TypeScript
• Experience with Node.js (Express framework) and REST APIs
• Frontend experience with Vue
• Experience with MySQL in a production environment
• Exposure to automotive, embedded or infotainment projects
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
